Hey there! I'm the big chesse at LX세미콘. It's awesome to meet you today to chat about my company. Let me break down what we're all about and what's on the horizon.
We're all about creating a chip called DDI(Display Driver IC). Let's get into the nitty-gritty of what DDI does. DDI is in charge of controlling TFT(Thin Film Transistor). TFT acts like a switch, turing subpixels on and off. So, DDI handles subpixel control through TFT. Got the hang of it? Let's visualize how a display functions to make it crystal clear. When you tap on an app on your phone, a processor like AP recognizes it. AP then instructs the display to show an image for the app. That signal from AP passes through a PCB, and the PCB sends it over to DDI. This is where DDI steps in, as I mentioned earlier. DDI manages subpixels through TFT. Pretty straightforward, isn't it?
But here's the twist - our main client, like Apple, wants to have multiple DDI suppliers to reduce supply chain risks and cut down on DDI costs. We need to bring down the price of DDI to stay competitive. So, we've started researching a heat dissipation substrate for power semiconductors. These power semiconductors will find applications in various industries, such as UAM, automotive, spaceships, and more.
Hey there! I'm the head honcho over at LX세미콘. I'm so glad to meet you today for briefing my company. I'm gonna break down what we do and will do.
We're all about crafting a chip called DDI(Display Driver IC). Let's dive in what the DDI does. DDI control TFT(Thin Film Transistor). TFT is a switch turning on or off subpixels. So, DDI can control subpixels with TFT. Now, you've got it, right? Let's picture how a display works to understand it clearly. When you touch a app on your phone, a processor like AP recognized it. And AP order this display should show a image for the app. That signal from AP stops by a PCB, and PCB send the signal to DDI. Now, here is where DDI comes in. Like I said, DDI control subpixels through TFT. It is very simple, right?
But, here is the kicker - our main client like Apple, they wanna have multi DDI makers to release the risk of supply chains and to cut the cost of DDI. We've gotta reduce the price for DDI to stay ahead of the competition. So, now we've begun to research a heat dissipation substrate for the power semiconductor. The power semiconductor will be used in a lot of industries, particularly UAM, automotivesm spaceships and more.
